Leonard Snart and Lisa Snart are siblings but they’d never date each other. If there’s anything that goes against comics canon, it’s incest regardless if it’s between genetic siblings or foster ones. Even if Barry Allen got adopted by someone else in the New 52, he wasn’t raised to live with Iris West. Iris West has siblings in the comics but she never dated them either. ![]() If Barry had a sibling, he really wouldn’t date him/her. That kind of storyline where Iris is his foster sister goes against the Flash comics canon. Not a lot of people would bother to date their siblings, even if they get sexually aroused by that and if anybody has a foster sister or guardian they’d never date them either. Even in the New 52 comics, Iris was never presented as Barry’s adoptive sister because that’s creepy and gross. In fact, she’s never intended to be a sister, not even an adopted sister. True, Iris West is Barry Allen’s girlfriend though she’s not his sister. I do have an issue with CW Flash and that’s incest. ![]() Why Comics Barry and Iris would never date their own relatives, foster or genetic ![]()
