![]() ![]() Ryner tries to convince Ferris to leave and go to Roland because the journey has become too dangerous for her, but she assures him that he would never kill her, otherwise, she would already be dead, and caressing his head, Ferris gives the magician a warm welcome home. Ryner collapses, but Ferris grabs him and hugs him. ![]() Still, Ryner grabs Ferris by her throat, but she manages to close his eyes. Ferris runs to Ryner and stops him then, he tells her to close his eyes to stop everything because he cannot do it. The stigma focuses on Ferris one more time but Ryner delays it, demanding his body back. She makes a deal with Ryner, saying that she won't evade his next attack, and Ryner misses on purpose. Worn out, hurt, and bleeding, Ferris begins the episode evading every single attack that the Alpha Stigma berserk Ryner launches at her, and she cares nothing at all for all the destruction and goes on at insulting Ryner by reciting word by word his report as she declared to have read it. 1 Detailed Plot Summary (Contains Spoilers)ĭetailed Plot Summary (Contains Spoilers).Imagine a heavily promoted shitfest featuring their best, popular yet somehow shit, over used voice actors. ![]() It could've been replaced with Just Communication and no one would've noticed.Īt this point the only thing to look forward to is when Funimation releases a dub. The opening track, too, is nothing worth remembering. It's been ages since I've seen a show where they've done the triangle mouth, drop of water, anger hash, and footprint on the face type of shit. The animation is pretty lack luster, while the character designs and outfits look like rejected designs from Slayers. There could have been some game changing 'holy shit' statements in there they missed… but no, I don't think so. To be fair, the subs I were watching weren't that great. The same with Ryner's internal monologue at the end, another poor attempt to expand his character, which falls flat. The bit where Astal reunites the brother and sister comes off as a poorly contrived effort to expand on Astal's character. They're so boring and uninteresting that it's painful. The story and characters come off as generic as they could possibly get. ![]() If there's even an ounce of potential in this series, you wouldn't get that idea from the first episode. It's like a collection of all the usual suspects from the 90's sword & magic fantasy era. Wow, Legend of the Legendary Heroes seems to be recycled horse shit. Toward the end of the episode, white exploring some ruins, Ryner and Ferris are attacked by a large monster, only to be saved by a relic of the Legendary Heroes. They help reunite a brother and sister who were separated, an act that seems mind numbingly irrelevant. We're also introduced to some of Astal's cohorts, whom there's nothing remotely interesting to report about. While everyone seems to love him Ferris refutes his depiction as a hero, but as a demon and usurper instead. Meanwhile, back in their own nation their king, Sion Astal, strives to unite the world. Turns out she's after them because they're "fugitives and users of illegal magic!" Although it's quite obvious Milk and her squad aren't the least bit prepared for their task. They're secretly being followed by a talkative, troublesome girl, Captain Milk Callaud. Ryner on the other hand… your stereotypical not so bright slacker. She's your stereotypical bossy in charge character. He's accompanied by Ferris, a blonde beauty, who knows how to handle a sword. A wielder of this Alpha Stigma, who's on a quest from his home country of Roland for artifacts of the Legendary Heroes. Jumping forward to the era of the show, we're introduced to Ryner. He was the wielder of a new power known as Alpha Stigma. Ages ago a group of demons threatened the whole world, only to be saved by a man known as the Legendary Hero. The first episode starts off with a little history lesson. It's being produced by Zexcs and is licensed by Funimation here in the US. It's based off a 11 volume light novel series that ran between 20. The Synopsis Legend of the Legendary Heroes is set in a mythic land of magic and sword play. ![]()
